Items Edited Using Content Detail
Adding components to pages is done in the Experience Editor, new sections and editing are done using the Content Tree and Content Details in the Content Editor. Backend Components are created and managed by using both the Content Editor and the Experience Editor. New renderings are created in the Page Data folder, then items are added to the renderings to build out the component. Items are then chosen using a Data Picker to display in the front end.

The Data Picker displays both site-wide items, and the items added to a component in the page data folder.

Formatting With The Rich Text Editor
The purpose of Headings is to make content easier to read and understand. They provide structure using keywords and plain language to highlight essential tasks or information.
Headings structure important information and read like a page summary or outline. Each Main Section starts with an H2, unless the content is a continuation from the content above it, each H3 heading should be relevant to the H2 of that section. Use Headings in order (H2-H5) to format your web page.
